What the system does

A connected ecosystem of four applications that together run the operational workflow of a food delivery service:

  • Customer app — ordering, payments, live order tracking.
  • Restaurant / admin portal — order management, user administration, accounting, courier payouts, invoicing.
  • Courier app — assignment, navigation, status updates, location streaming.
  • Backend — REST API, realtime layer, integrations, scheduled jobs, deployments.

My role

Lead Full-Stack engineer responsible for backend systems, frontend architecture, realtime infrastructure, deployments and technical decisions. Worked directly with the client on feature planning and coordinated development across junior developers.

Challenges & Key areas

  • Realtime synchronization between customer, restaurant and courier applications
  • Keeping operational workflows reliable during live traffic and order spikes
  • Czech-specific integrations. GoPay, Moneta, ARES and GoSMS instead of the usual global SDKs, each with their own conventions and edge cases.

Innogy RPM

Enterprise React/TypeScript retail portfolio manager for Innogy — a major European energy provider, built at Trask.

What the system does

A large-scale portfolio manager used by an energy retailer to track commodity contracts, positions and customer-facing portfolios across multiple commodities. Heavy on data tables, forms and cross-application synchronization.

My contribution

Working on frontend features inside a larger React/TypeScript codebase built around generated API clients and shared backend contracts. Collaboration across multiple teams requires coordination between frontend, backend and release workflows.
Most of the day-to-day work revolves around complex forms, data-heavy interfaces and keeping server state synchronized across the application.

Notes

Enterprise development shifts the focus away from framework choices and more toward long-term maintainability, review processes and coordination across teams and services.

Worked across frontend, backend and database layers on a long-term internal business platform. Contributed to multiple larger project phases, implemented new features, fixed production issues and participated in continuous development and releases over several years.
